PPC or pay-per-click search engines is the fastest way to drive targeted traffic to your Web sites. 

How Pay Per Click Search Engines Work

The principle is that you bid on a keyword or key phrase, and you pay the pay per click search engines that amount every time a visitor clicks on your ad in the search engine and is redirected to your Web site.

This is a good method to drive TARGETED traffic to your Web site. For example, if you are selling real estate in the Philippines, you can bid on the key phrase "real estate philippines."

For example, I am currently developing a business to sell non-life insurance. So I go to Overture to check what key phrase people are using to look for car insurance. This is what I found:

The above data shows that more people are searching using the term "car insurance" than the term "auto insurance". However, the bid price shows that some Internet marketers find the term "auto insurance" to be better, by willing to pay more (e.g. bid price).

The last column shows how many results are displayed when each key phrase is searched using the Google search engine.

I think you can see how valuable these information is in designing the Web site.

I frequently use Overture PPC search engine to help design and grow my businesses online.
